Ezekiel 7

Ezekiel 7

This chapter contains the prophecy of the absolute end coming upon the whole land of Israel. God declares, "An end has come, the end has come; it has awakened against you." The coming disaster is universal and inescapable. The people's wealth, gold, and silver will be useless and cast into the streets because they cannot deliver them from God's wrath. The prophet describes the terror and the confusion as prophets have vain visions and the Law perishes from the priests.
