Ezekiel 9

Ezekiel 9

God calls six men, each with a slaughter weapon, to appear before Him. A seventh man, dressed in linen with a writer’s inkhorn, is commanded to mark the foreheads of all those who sigh and cry over the abominations being committed in Jerusalem. The six executioners are then commanded to follow the man and kill everyone who does not have the mark, beginning at the sanctuary. This vision shows that judgment is executed strictly, without pity, and begins with those closest to the house of God.
