Genesis 19

Genesis 19

Two angels arrive in the city of Sodom and are welcomed by Lot. The wicked men of the city surround Lot’s house, demanding the angels be brought out to them. The angels strike the men blind and urge Lot and his family to flee the city before its destruction, warning them not to look back. When the destruction comes, God rains burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah. Tragically, Lot's wife disobeys the command and looks back, turning into a pillar of salt. Lot and his two daughters escape to a small town.
