Genesis 3

Genesis 3

Witness the fall of humanity into sin. The serpent tempts Eve to doubt God’s word, leading both her and Adam to eat the forbidden fruit. Immediately, they feel shame and hide from God. God confronts them, pronouncing curses on the serpent, Eve (pain in childbirth), and Adam (toil and struggle in work). God mercifully provides clothing (the first covering for sin) and banishes them from the Garden of Eden to prevent them from eating from the tree of life, thus sealing the consequence of death.
