Genesis 45

Genesis 45

Moved by Judah's selfless plea, Joseph can no longer control himself. He sends everyone else away and reveals his identity, crying out, ""I am Joseph! Is my father still alive?"" The brothers are terrified, but Joseph reassures them that God sent him ahead to preserve their lives during the famine. Joseph commands them to return to Canaan immediately and bring Jacob and their entire families to Egypt, where he will provide for them for the remaining five years of the famine.
