Genesis 7

Genesis 7

The Great Flood begins. Noah, his family, and all the specified animals enter the massive ark just seven days before the rain starts. God Himself closes the door, sealing them in. For forty days and forty nights, the torrential rain falls, along with water surging from the earth's springs, covering the entire planet. All living things outside the ark—every man, animal, and bird—perish. The ark, carrying the only survivors, floats safely on the surface of the devastating waters, marking a complete cleansing of the earth.
