Habakkuk 2

Habakkuk 2

God answers Habakkuk’s second complaint, instructing him to write the vision plainly. God confirms that the Babylonians will eventually be judged for their cruelty and greed. The Lord provides the famous promise: the righteous person will live by his faithfulness (or faith). The chapter then pronounces five ""woes"" against Babylon, condemning their aggression, violence, drunkenness, and idolatry. God warns that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord’s glory.
