Habakkuk 3

Habakkuk concludes with a magnificent prayer of praise and faith that recounts God's powerful, saving acts in history, particularly the Exodus. Habakkuk expresses awe at God’s majesty, recalling moments when God moved with terrifying power to defeat enemies and protect His people. Although the prophet knows that invasion and hardship are coming—that the fields may yield no food and the flocks may disappear—he resolves to rejoice in the Lord and find his strength in God, regardless of his circumstances.
