Hebrews 10

Hebrews 10

The author confirms that the sacrifices of the Law were imperfect because they were a continual, annual reminder of sins. The Law was merely a shadow of the good things to come. Christ's single sacrifice of His own body fulfills the Law and has perfected forever those who are being made holy. The author encourages believers to draw near to God with a sincere heart and issues the fourth major warning: Do not deliberately keep on sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth, as there remains no further sacrifice for sin.
