Hebrews 11

This chapter is the magnificent "Hall of Faith," defining faith as "confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." The author provides numerous Old Testament examples of people who acted on faith, including Abel, Enoch, Noah (who built an ark based on unseen warnings), Abraham (who followed God without knowing where he was going), and Moses (who chose mistreatment with God's people over the temporary pleasures of Egypt).
