Hebrews 1

Hebrews 1

The author opens with the magnificent statement that God spoke in the past through the prophets but now speaks through His Son. He establishes the absolute supremacy of Christ, declaring that the Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being. The Son sustains the universe by His word. The author then proves Christ's superiority over angels, quoting several Old Testament passages that show the Son is greater, enthroned, and worthy of worship.
