Hebrews 2

Hebrews 2

The author gives the first of five major warnings: Christians must pay closer attention to the message they have heard, lest they drift away. He explains that Jesus shared in our humanity to become the perfect High Priest. By suffering death, Jesus destroyed the power of the devil, who holds the power of death. Because Jesus Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is now able to help those who are being tempted, becoming the pioneer of their salvation.
