Hebrews 6

Hebrews 6

The author issues a third major warning about drifting away from the faith. He encourages them to move beyond elementary teachings to maturity. The warning is serious: it is impossible for those who have experienced God’s blessings and then fall away to be restored to repentance. However, the author assures them that God will not forget their work and love. He concludes by confirming that God's promise is secured by an oath, anchored by Jesus, who has entered the inner sanctuary as our forerunner.
