Hebrews 8

Hebrews 8

The author establishes that Christ serves as the High Priest of a superior covenant (the New Covenant) based on better promises. Christ ministers in the true heavenly tabernacle, which God set up, not man. The author quotes Jeremiah 31, detailing the promises of the New Covenant: God will put His laws in their minds, write them on their hearts, and remember their sins no more. By establishing a new covenant, the Old Covenant is obsolete and ready to vanish.
