Hebrews 9

Hebrews 9

The author contrasts the physical limitations of the Old Covenant tabernacle with the perfection of the New Covenant. The earthly high priest entered the Holy of Holies only once a year with the blood of animals. Christ, however, entered the heavenly tabernacle once for all time, not with the blood of goats or calves, but with His own blood, securing eternal redemption. Christ appeared once at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of Himself.
