Isaiah 15

This chapter is a mournful oracle against Moab, a neighboring nation of Israel. The prophet foretells that the nation of Moab will be completely ruined in a single night. The people will shave their heads and put on sackcloth in despair as their cities are destroyed and their people flee. The Moabites' cry of anguish will be heard from one end of their territory to the other, signifying the terrible, swift judgment God is bringing upon their nation.
