Isaiah 21

Isaiah 21

This chapter contains three urgent and mysterious oracles. The first is against the Desert by the Sea (Babylon), foretelling its sudden, complete destruction. The watchman announces, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon!" The second oracle is against Edom, where the watchman is asked, "Watchman, what of the night?" The third oracle is against the Arab tribes of Dedan and Kedar, warning them that within one year, their glory and strength will fail, confirming God's relentless judgment on those who oppose Him.
