Isaiah 45

Isaiah 45

God reveals His purpose for Cyrus, the Persian king, whom He calls His "anointed" (Messiah), though Cyrus does not know God. God promises to open gates and flatten mountains before Cyrus so he can conquer Babylon. God declares that He is the Lord, and there is no other God. God challenges the nations to look to Him and be saved, confirming that every knee will bow and every tongue will swear allegiance to Him. God reveals that He is the only source of righteousness and strength.
