Isaiah 4

Isaiah 4

This chapter presents a short, prophetic vision of restoration after judgment. In that day, seven women will desperately cling to one man, begging only for his name and protection to remove their shame—a sign of how few men survived the coming war. The Lord will wash away the filth and blood of Jerusalem by the Spirit of Judgment and the Spirit of Burning. The small remnant that survives will be called holy, and God’s glory will hover over Mount Zion as a protective cloud by day and a fire by night, providing permanent shelter.
