Isaiah 55

Isaiah 55

God issues a beautiful, universal invitation to all people: "Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat!" God urges them to seek the Lord while He may be found and to call upon Him while He is near. God assures them that His thoughts are not human thoughts, nor are His ways human ways; His word that goes out from His mouth will not return empty but will accomplish its purpose. The people will go out with joy and be led forth with peace.
