Isaiah 60

Isaiah 60

The prophet calls to Zion to arise and shine, for her light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon her, ending her period of darkness and gloom. Nations and kings will be drawn to her light, bringing their immense wealth and tribute. Jerusalem's gates will be open continually, and the people of God will no longer experience violence. The Lord Himself will be her everlasting light and her God. The smallest and least will become a mighty nation, as God accomplishes this quickly in His time.
