Isaiah 62

Isaiah 62

The prophet promises that he will not rest until Zion’s righteousness shines out like the dawn. Jerusalem will receive a new name from the mouth of the Lord and will be a beautiful crown in the hand of God. The land will no longer be called "Desolate" but Hephzibah ("My Delight Is in Her"), and the city will be called Beulah ("Married"). God commands the watchmen to prepare the way and lift up a banner for the peoples. God proclaims that the redeemed are coming, and their reward is with them.
