Isaiah 63

Isaiah 63

The prophet sees a mighty warrior approaching from Edom with garments stained crimson red. The warrior is the Lord, who explains that He has trampled the nations in His fury, staining His garments with their blood, as if treading the winepress alone. God then recalls the history of Israel's journey in the wilderness, lamenting how the people grieved God's Holy Spirit with their rebellion. The people pray desperately, pleading with God to remember them, asking, "Where are your zeal and your might?"
