Isaiah 65

Isaiah 65

God answers the prayer, revealing that He was ready to be sought by those who did not ask for Him, but Israel (Judah) continued in rebellion, worshipping idols, sacrificing in gardens, and provoking Him. God promises to bring judgment upon the wicked, but assures that He will not destroy the entire nation, leaving a remnant for David’s sake. God promises to create a new heavens and a new earth, where there will be no more sorrow, and where the longevity of life and abundance will be restored.
