James 2

James 2

James condemns favoritism in the church, specifically criticizing those who give special attention to the wealthy while neglecting the poor. He reminds them that the poor were chosen by God to be rich in faith. James then addresses the relationship between faith and works, declaring that faith without works is dead. He uses the examples of Abraham (who offered Isaac) and Rahab (who hid the spies) to prove that genuine faith is always demonstrated and perfected by corresponding actions.
