Job 12

Job 12

Job responds sarcastically to his friends, calling them arrogant and saying he is just as intelligent as they are. Job laments that his friends mock him, even though he is a righteous man crying out to God. He mocks their reliance on common proverbs and challenges their narrow view of God's power. Job describes God as sovereign over everything—kings, counselors, judges, and the most powerful natural forces. He concludes that God alone holds all true wisdom and might, and He can destroy and rebuild nations at will.
