Job 24

Job 24

Job shifts his focus to the injustice he sees prevalent in the world. He describes the rampant oppression of the poor: wicked people move boundary markers, steal flocks, take pledges from the needy, and oppress the hungry and homeless. Job questions why God does not intervene to stop this open evil, as the wicked continue their crimes in darkness, living and dying without accountability. Job challenges his friends: if his observations are wrong, let them prove him a liar and his argument worthless.
