Job 28

Job 28

Job reflects on human wisdom and the search for treasure. He describes man’s remarkable ability to mine the earth for silver, gold, and precious stones, conquering the darkest depths for wealth. Yet, Job asks, "But where can wisdom be found?" Job concludes that man cannot discover true wisdom through exploration or trade. Wisdom is hidden from human eyes; only God knows the way to it, for He established the world and measured out the waters. God alone gave wisdom to man by telling him, "Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom."
