Job 5

Job 5

Eliphaz continues his traditional argument, urging Job to accept God's correction rather than complain. He reminds Job that God is the one who heals the wounds He inflicts, and lists numerous examples of God protecting the righteous from various dangers. Eliphaz concludes with an optimistic promise: if Job repents and commits his cause to God, God will restore him to a life of abundance and peace, free from fear of wild animals, war, and famine. He ends by affirming that this is truth, and Job should heed it.
