John 11

John 11

Jesus performs His most dramatic public miracle: the raising of Lazarus from the dead. Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha, is sick, but Jesus intentionally delays His arrival until Lazarus has been dead and buried for four days. When Jesus arrives, He declares, "I am the resurrection and the life." He commands the stone to be rolled away and calls Lazarus to come out. This powerful miracle convinces many to believe, but it causes the Jewish leaders to intensify their plot to kill Jesus.
