John 13

John 13

Before the Passover meal, Jesus performs an act of profound humility by washing the feet of His disciples, instructing them to follow His example of service. Jesus predicts that one of them will betray Him (Judas Iscariot). After Judas leaves, Jesus gives the disciples a new command: "Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." Jesus warns Peter that he will deny Him three times before the rooster crows.
