John 17

John 17

Jesus offers His profound High Priestly Prayer to the Father. He prays first for Himself, asking to be glorified. Second, He prays for the disciples, asking the Father to protect them from the evil one and consecrate them by the truth of His word. Third, He prays for all future believers (the church), asking that they all may be one—just as He and the Father are one—so the world may believe that the Father sent Him.
