John 18

John 18

Jesus is arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane. Judas Iscariot leads the Roman cohort and temple guards to the spot. Peter draws his sword and cuts off the ear of the high priest's servant, Malchus, but Jesus rebukes him. Jesus is first taken to Annas and then to Caiaphas, the high priest. While this happens, Peter denies Jesus three times. Jesus is then brought before the Roman governor, Pilate, for questioning about His claim to be King of the Jews.
