Jonah 2

Jonah 2

Inside the belly of the great fish, Jonah cries out to the Lord in a powerful prayer of thanksgiving and repentance. He acknowledges that he was swallowed because of his disobedience and reflects on his descent into the depths of the sea. Jonah recognizes that salvation belongs only to God, confirming his willingness to fulfill the vow he broke by fleeing. The Lord hears Jonah’s prayer and commands the great fish to vomit Jonah onto dry land, giving him a miraculous second chance.
