Joshua 10

Joshua 10

The king of Jerusalem and four other Amorite kings join forces to attack the Gibeonites for making peace with Israel. The Gibeonites send an urgent plea to Joshua for rescue. Joshua marches all night and defeats the coalition in a great battle. During the fight, the Lord casts down huge hailstones that kill more enemies than the swords. In an unprecedented miracle, the sun stands still over Gibeon and the moon over the Valley of Aijalon, allowing Israel to complete the victory in daylight.
