Joshua 14

Joshua 14

Caleb, now eighty-five years old, reminds Joshua of the promise Moses made forty-five years earlier: that Caleb would receive the land he personally scouted as a spy. Caleb confidently states that he is still as strong as he was then and requests the challenging hill country of Hebron, which is currently inhabited by the fearsome giants, the Anakim. Joshua blesses Caleb and grants him Hebron as his personal inheritance, rewarding Caleb’s lifelong faith and courage.
