Joshua 23

Joshua 23

Joshua, now very old, gathers all the leaders and elders of Israel for a farewell speech. He reminds them that God is the one who fought for them and will continue to drive out the remaining nations if they remain completely faithful. Joshua solemnly warns them not to intermarry with the remaining Canaanites, or worship their gods. He makes it clear that if they violate the covenant, God will no longer protect them, and they will be destroyed and driven out of the Promised Land.
