Jude 1

Jude, the brother of James, writes to believers, urging them to contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints. He warns them about godless intruders who twist the grace of God into a license for immorality. Jude cites examples of God's severe judgment (unfaithful Israelites, fallen angels, Sodom and Gomorrah) to prove that the wicked will be punished. He instructs believers to keep themselves in God's love and show mercy to those who doubt.

Genesis 41

Pharaoh dreams of seven fat cows and seven skinny cows. Joseph interprets the dreams as seven years of plenty followed by seven years of famine, leading Pharaoh to make Joseph Second-in-Command of all Egypt.

The famine forces Joseph's brothers to travel to Egypt for grain. They bow to Joseph (fulfilling his dreams) but do not recognize him. Joseph tests them and keeps Simeon hostage.
