Judges 15

Judges 15

Samson returns to Timnah for his wife but finds she has been given to his best man. Seeking revenge, Samson catches three hundred foxes, ties their tails together in pairs, attaches a torch between each pair, and releases them into the Philistine grain fields, destroying the harvest. The Philistines retaliate by burning Samson's former wife and her father. Samson strikes back, killing many Philistines. The men of Judah, fearing Philistine reprisal, bind Samson and deliver him, but he breaks free and kills one thousand Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey.
