The other eleven tribes solemnly vow not to give any of their daughters in marriage to the surviving 600 men of Benjamin, regretting their near-extinction of a tribe. They then devise a further plan, instructing the remaining Benjamites to kidnap the young women dancing at the annual festival in Shiloh, concluding the chaotic era with profound moral compromises.
