Leviticus 10

This chapter records a tragic and sudden judgment when Nadab and Abihu, two of Aaron's sons, offer ""unauthorized fire"" before the Lord—fire that God did not command. Fire immediately bursts forth from the Lord's presence and kills them both. Moses instructs Aaron not to mourn publicly, emphasizing that God is holy and must be treated as such by those closest to Him.
