Luke 10

Luke 10

Jesus sends out an additional seventy-two disciples in pairs to every town He planned to visit, instructing them to travel lightly and rely on the hospitality of others. They return with joy, having seen demons submit to them. Jesus warns them to rejoice that their names are written in heaven. A lawyer asks Jesus, "Who is my neighbor?" prompting Jesus to tell the Parable of the Good Samaritan, defining true neighborly love as compassionate action toward anyone in need.
