Luke 18

Luke 18

Jesus tells the Parable of the Persistent Widow and the unjust judge, teaching His followers to pray always and never give up. He then tells the Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector, showing that humility, not self-righteousness, justifies a person before God. Jesus blesses little children. He challenges a rich ruler to sell everything, who sadly refuses. Jesus restores sight to a blind beggar near Jericho, whose loud plea for mercy is finally granted.
