Luke 20

Luke 20

The chief priests, scribes, and elders challenge Jesus's authority. Jesus responds with the Parable of the Wicked Tenants, clearly identifying the leaders as the unfaithful tenants who will murder the master's son. The leaders try to trap Jesus with the tax question (Caesar vs. God). The Sadducees try to trick Jesus with a question about the resurrection and the woman married to seven brothers. Jesus silences all His opponents by proving the resurrection is real and divine.
