Luke 21

Luke 21

Jesus watches people putting money into the temple treasury and praises a poor widow who puts in two tiny copper coins, saying she gave more than all the rich people. Jesus then delivers a prophecy about the destruction of the temple (which happened in 70 AD) and describes the signs of the end of the age, including wars, famines, and cosmic disturbances. Jesus instructs His disciples to stand firm so that they may gain enduring life.
