Luke 22

Luke 22

The religious leaders plot to kill Jesus. Judas Iscariot agrees to betray Jesus. During the Last Supper, Jesus institutes the Lord's Supper (communion). Jesus warns Peter that Satan has demanded to sift him like wheat, but Jesus has prayed for him. Jesus prays in agonizing stress in the Garden of Gethsemane. Judas then leads the crowd to arrest Jesus. Peter denies Jesus three times before the rooster crows, and Jesus is led away to trial.
