Luke 24

Luke 24

Early on Sunday morning, several women go to the tomb and find the stone rolled away and the body gone. Two angels declare, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!" Jesus later appears to two disciples on the road to Emmaus, explaining how the Old Testament scriptures pointed to Him. Finally, Jesus appears to His gathered disciples in Jerusalem, eats with them, and commissions them to preach repentance and forgiveness to all nations.
