Luke 5

Luke 5

Jesus calls His first disciples, including Peter, after commanding him to let down his nets for a miraculous catch of fish that almost sinks the boats. Peter, overwhelmed, falls down and declares himself a sinful man. Jesus says, "From now on you will fish for people." Jesus then heals a man with leprosy and a paralyzed man whose friends lower him through the roof. Jesus calls the despised tax collector Levi (Matthew) and eats with sinners, explaining that the sick, not the healthy, need a physician.
