Luke 6

Luke 6

Jesus defends His disciples for plucking grain on the Sabbath and then heals a man with a shriveled hand in the synagogue on the Sabbath, enraging the religious leaders. Jesus chooses the Twelve Apostles. He delivers a discourse on a level ground, similar to the Sermon on the Mount, including the Beatitudes (blessings for the poor) and the Woes (warnings for the rich and complacent). Jesus urges His followers to love their enemies and ends with the parable of the two builders.
