Luke 7

Luke 7

Jesus is astonished by the great faith of a Roman centurion who simply asks Jesus to speak the word to heal his paralyzed servant. Jesus then raises a widow’s son from the dead in the town of Nain, proving His power over death. John the Baptist, in prison, sends messengers to ask if Jesus is the Messiah. Jesus responds by pointing to His miracles. The chapter ends with Jesus being anointed by a sinful woman in a Pharisee’s house, teaching about forgiveness and great love.
